The following Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) apply to all catering orders, bookings, and services provided by Purple Sage Group Pte Ltd (“Purple Sage”, “we”, “us”, or “our”). By placing an order with us, the client (“you” or “your”) agrees to be bound by these Terms.
1. Prices & Charges
1.1 All prices are subject to prevailing Goods & Services Tax (GST) and may be revised at any time without prior notice.
1.2 Transportation, set-up, dismantling, and/or collection fees apply and will be charged separately.
1.3 Public holiday, eve of public holiday, peak season, and late-night/early-morning surcharges may apply.
1.4 Quotations are valid for a maximum of 14 days from date of issue unless otherwise stated in writing.
2. Orders & Payment
2.1 Orders are deemed confirmed only upon written acknowledgment by Purple Sage.
2.2 For non-corporate clients, full payment is required upon receipt of confirmation. Purple Sage reserves the right to withhold services until full payment is received.
2.3 For corporate clients, credit terms (if any) must be agreed upon in writing. Late payment shall attract interest at 1.5% per month or the maximum allowed by law, whichever is higher.
2.4 All payments are non-refundable except as expressly stated in these Terms.
2.5 Purple Sage reserves the right to substitute food items with items of equivalent or higher value should ingredients become unavailable due to seasonality, supply constraints, or unforeseen circumstances.
3. Cancellation & Refunds
3.1 Cancellations are not valid unless made in writing and acknowledged by Purple Sage.
3.2 The following cancellation charges apply:
– 50% of food price for cancellations made after confirmation.|
– 100% of food price for cancellations made within 24 hours of the function date.
3.3 For large-scale events (≥200 pax) or festive/peak season bookings, Purple Sage reserves the right to impose stricter cancellation terms, including 100% cancellation fees upon confirmation.
3.4 No refund will be made for unused services, late arrivals, or no-shows.
4. Changes to Orders
4.1 Once confirmed, menus and the guaranteed minimum number of pax are strictly non-reducible.
4.2 Requests for an increase in pax may be accommodated up to 5 working days prior to the event, subject to ingredient availability and operational capacity.
4.3 All requests for changes must be submitted in writing via email to sales@purplesage.com.sg. Verbal or WhatsApp requests will not be entertained.
4.4 Purple Sage reserves the sole discretion to accept or reject requests for changes.
5. Delivery, Collection & Venue Conditions
5.1 Standard delivery and collection hours are 9:00 AM to 9:00 PM. Any service outside of these hours may incur additional charges.
5.2 Client is responsible for ensuring that venue access is available (including loading bays, service lifts, parking, and permits where required).
5.3 Additional surcharges will apply for venues located at non-lift accessible levels, restricted zones, or requiring manual handling beyond normal scope.
5.4 Purple Sage shall not be held responsible for any delay or failure in delivery/collection caused by traffic conditions, weather, venue restrictions, or circumstances beyond our reasonable control.
6. Liability & Indemnity
6.1 All food is best consumed within 2 hours from delivery/setup. Purple Sage shall not be held liable for any food quality issues, spoilage, or health concerns arising from consumption beyond this recommended timeframe.
6.2 Purple Sage shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss, damage, or expenses incurred by the client, including but not limited to loss of profits or business opportunities.
6.3 Client agrees to indemnify and hold Purple Sage harmless from any claims, damages, or liabilities arising from (a) misuse or mishandling of food after delivery/setup, (b) venue restrictions, (c) guest actions, or (d) breach of these Terms.
7. Allergy Disclaimer
7.1 Due to shared food preparation areas and handling, Purple Sage cannot guarantee the complete absence of allergens in any dish.
7.2 While rigorous food safety measures are in place to minimize cross-contamination, we may be unable to accommodate guests with severe or life-threatening allergies, particularly those relating to nuts, shellfish, gluten, or dairy.
7.3 Clients are responsible for informing all guests of this disclaimer and ensuring that individuals with severe allergies refrain from consuming food supplied by Purple Sage. Purple Sage shall not be liable for any allergic reactions or related health issues arising from consumption.
8. Marketing & Representation
8.1 All images shown on our website, social media, or marketing materials are for illustration purposes only. Actual food presentation and portion sizes may vary.
8.2 Purple Sage reserves the right to photograph and use images of catered events (excluding client’s proprietary or confidential events) for marketing purposes unless otherwise expressly prohibited in writing by the client prior to the event.
9. Menus & Promotions
9.1 All menus, promotions, discounts, and complimentary offers are not valid for bookings made at official partner venues or contracted venues, unless expressly stated otherwise.
9.2 Purple Sage reserves the right to modify menus, promotions, and pricing without prior notice.
10. Governing Law & Jurisdiction
10.1 These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Singapore.
10.2 Any dispute arising from or in connection with these Terms shall be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Singapore courts.
